"Don't Know"

We don’t know when it’s over,

Or when to say we’re through,

Don’t know when enough’s enough,

Or nothing more to do.

We don’t know when the trouble,

Is something God will use,

Or if it’s just what happens,

‘Cause we are born to lose.

We don’t know when the failure,

Says that’s just who you are,

Or if it’s really lying,

‘Says what’s the use so far.

We don’t know when the miracle,

Is just around the curve,

Or if we’re run-in’ circles,

And really lost our nerve.

Rise up so you know better,

The Spirit really can,

Show you what you need to know,

He will reveal His plan.

“Let is follow the Spirit’s leading…” (Eph.5:26, NLT)

Jesus promised it and the Spirit makes it so: The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth. It’s ultimately the way for every Christian to live. We make our mistakes but the Lord uses everything. He helps us learn and grow and be brought into all HIs blessings. The sooner we learn to cooperate with the Holy Spirit, the better it will be. Why not make it our business to surrender full out to Jesus and allow him to fill us to overflowing. Then He will show us what we need to know.

Lord, lead us by Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
