"God's Day"

Demons rage to end of age,

The darkness is intense,

But light will be much brighter, see,

As the Church goes on offense,

To draw the lines, as God’s light shines,

And shows to us the way,

We stand against the dark dispensed,

And to the devil say,

In Jesus’ name, the very same,

Who died to make it so,

Your plans defeat under His feet,

You soon to hell will go.

But until then we will not bend,

Or be swayed by your lies,

The strongholds break for Jesus’ sake,

We’re reaching for God’s prize.

The day will come when heaven from,

We’ll hear a trumpet sound,

All will submit and death will quit,

God’s glory all around.

All knees will bow and then somehow,

All lips confess Him Lord,

To the glory of our God above,

With Kingdom’s treasures stored.

We’re in the fight, God’s awesome might,

Is with us all the way,

The harvest take, disciples make,

Until our Lord God’s day.

“For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16, NLT)

Human history will end when Jesus ends it. In the beginning it was all about God and the end will be the same. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord. Jesus reigns now until every enemy is defeated, the last of which will be death itself. God has won the war but there are still battles to fight, in Jesus’ name. it is our business to steadily take the final harvest of souls that are saved and added to the Church Jesus is building. It is a great honor to live during this season of human history.

Lord, help us faithfully fight Your battles until the end, in Jesus’ name.
